WWI flight sim

How sweet does that terrain look

As soon as KotS is out my bags are packed, 'cos Iā€™m going back in time.
From my nissan hut to a draughty tent in Flanders.

Unbelievable and sweet as a nut yes. I thought Gennadich was just a hopeful until I saw shots of their development offices itā€™s a big project. This is getting better and better all the time that might be the Somme. Itā€™s a long way <everybody>

What is that shot please Triple? From an airshow? Bit grainy for a screenshot

This week is formation of objects:)

Looks great doesnā€™t itā€¦ But there are already the usual pratts going on about how ā€˜the trenches are too angularā€™, and there should be shell holes etcā€¦(sigh)

Do they not know it is a flight simā€¦
Oh well you get whiners everywhere:mad:

Yes you do itā€™s awful ainā€™t it

What is all the fuss about? Those are ooold airplanes! Stoneage compared to our hightech spits! But the terrain looks nice ofcourse.

Paleolithic Mram compared with the Neolithic stuff we usually go for - but one or two of us like the old stuff - personally I like wooden planes.

OK, I know Fokkers had steel fames, and Junkers were all metal

Im with you there i love the old stuff:)

That Korea/SoW engine simā€™s surfacedā€¦ we mustnā€™t wish our lives away but- wow roll on 2008

A man after my own heart;)

Looks amazing, shadows, shine, reflections etcā€¦:smokin:

Dead right Henkie!

Thanks Dan

Grass texture looks much better now than Il-2ā€™s, now we need an Ironclad sim

Cheers for the post Dan, are those the tanks you drive mate?

Wouldnā€™t fancy being stuck in that, drop a flaming bottle of whiskey (Mingā€™s) on it as I whizz over in my Spad and I bet the lot would brew up nicely

LOL back when our regiment started yes;)
It looks great dosnt itā€¦is that a hint of ground pounding i hear in your voice;)ā€¦its ok i will take you under my wing:roflmao:

The armour could be penetrated by bullets back then I think I read wait-

The Mark I and the Mark II tanks were not the super-weapons of myth and legend. They were mechanically unreliable - their armour was not even proof against ordinary bulletsā€¦ 6-pounder guns in each sponson

Our job is primarily to take photos of the German arty positions and then to work with our artillery to call the range and direction to lob in shells from our designated battery. Thatā€™s what the planes are all about, that and stopping their photo-recces being successful. Recce missions will be major. If we have online wars in KotS weā€™ll actually be able to knock out tanks
