I believe it’s a different effect Ace’s Link, Nacreous Clouds compare with Aurora, Northern Lights; both are very beautiful
Thanks a lot, Painter!!
Really beautiful, anyway…
The existence of both phenomena makes me even more angry, for the crappy weather we’ve got here in Milan (no Sunny Med, no Mystic North!)
Old and unused crane in my hometown harbour.
thi pics were taken this early summer when i had done about 40 Km in bicycle along seashore road for sure wind from north
when we have wind from sout you can see haze
the mud are little naked because water was very warm this summer, now we continue to have 22/24° on day
Only colour we’re getting at the moment is white…
-6C and probably sinking, a bit too cold for only t-shirt and a thin jacket.
Wind from the south…“The Scirocco”…I remember it well
When it comes back send some our way please
Last week we were for autumn holidays hiking in Südtirol/ Bolzano where i took these two pics out of our window. First day was perfect weather.
Second day there came storm which brought snow and cold temperatures.
In the evening the weather cleared and we could see the mountain tops again. It looked really nice, better than on the picture The wind was blowing the snow from the muntain top like off a ramp and the sun put it into nice colours. In motion it was really spectacular.
Unless we get a massive thaw, its looking highly likely that for the first time in my life I’ll be experiencing a white Christmas…
Taken yesterday whilst out running.
Must be Global warming:D. Nothing better than a white Christmas, lucky you.
Keets I would like to have a word with you about this rain!
8th consecutive day of snow. Not typical of what we get here at all usualy.
From my bedroom window:
Earlier this week looking towards the biggest windfarm in europe ( just visible )
As i type this, looking out the window, its started again
PS: sorry bout the HUGE images, slightly hung over still from yesterdays celebrations and resizing is currently a technical step too far :))… later
Winter Wonderland…and Christmas…how nice.
I love these insights into all our homes and parts of the world.
View from my PC chair when not looking at screen. Not too far from Sporran’s and nearer the salty sea to have less snow.
nice pics!
What a difference a few days make…
