Beautifull Pictures from All of You!
I could almost hear the Birdsong in those Pictures.
Thanks Guys.
Beautifull!!
Looks a bit hot there Osprey, say a bit more then +8 C?
From a walk I did today, almost too late for the most spectacular colors. Now we’re just waiting for the snow…
Wonderful pics Mikke! Nice to see something of the town as well.
Os that really looks tropical…so nice …near the sea. Goshawk Forrest (transl.:Habichtswald) is part of the Teutoburger Forest as well. My great great uncle was a forest ranger there.
Hope the Goshawk didn’t hurt you! Think you were quite astonished if not shocked a bit.
Currently I’m shooting lots of Indian Summer pics during a short holiday trip.
More to come soon.
Back from the trip…tried to catch a bit of Autumn again…!
From a walk I did today, almost too late for the most spectacular colors. Now we’re just waiting for the snow…
Alright for some, you wait for the snow, over here in good ol’ blighty all we can guarantee is rain, and the waiting is already over torrential down pour from home all the way to work this morning, thats 62miles of rain
Oh Man, what great pictures, All of them!
Salute to Beauty!
Ice on the water puddle. The moose ran out of our area, and kept running (no, I didn’t see it, only Wasps brother and the dog did)…
At least the fire that Wasps dad had started was still burning.
Both pictures taken this morning around 08:15.
Just got back from my trip to the Smokie Mountains here is some shots of hiking we did yesterday not much color because of lack of rain but all and all a great trip:
This is a 500 foot waterfall.
Loved your shots guys, keep um coming.
Very nice Osprey! Is that is Georgia?
Thx for the photo report Os, wonderful pics! Great landscape!
No Mikke, We do have mountains like this in Georgia but I was on the North Carolina side. The mountain range covers Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Glad you liked it, maybe someone will send some Alps photos?
Here in Milan we’got the Alps just some 80-100 km away, Osprey…of course I’m preparing to send you some pics!
You’ll note the differences…narrower valleys, steeper woods (Central-Europe-like forests are in Central Italy), but mountains are of course bigger, taller and whiter.
What leaves an Italian astonished is the sensation of SPACE that America offers: one feels American nature & landscape as still untamed…how can I say?.. as still a bit overwhelming, you know?
Here, almost every corner has been visited, reported and exploited during the last 4000 years…
Very nice pics OS. And you are right Monstter, the open space of american landscape is overwhelming!
Colors is starting to change here…
Out hunting again today, first, 11:18, if you look close you might be able to spot something small and white falling from the sky:
8 minutes later, a bit easier to see the white thingies:
11:54, well, something have changed I think?
A little fire to make it a little less cold…
By now it have stopped snowing and started to rain instead, so snow is gone (lucky for me, my summer tires is starting to look like slicks).
WOW, that was a quick change of season Mikke;)! I love snow, as long as it falls and melts an hour later:p
Very nice Mikke
To begin with (hunting, something white falling from the sky) I thought you meant pigeons. Doves
