How does BOS in it’s current state compare to latest TF patched COD?
Luckily I’ve not seen COD at release, but only now when it’s very playable. So my impressions are quite positive and I expect BOS to be at least as good as COD is right now to earn that IL2 part in the name.

Think RoF in 1940’s planes.
It is more RoF part 2 than IL2, they just bought the brand name that’s all. It has nothing from the IL2 franchise.
IMO opinion it is good at what it does, but I prefer to “fly” CoD.

Well in that case, I’ll hold on with purchase until I see how game turns up at the end and what will be EAF interest in it.
I think CoD is great, but also feel it lack content in order to be enough on it’s own once IL2 1946 really drys out on active players.
My hopes are in BOS, but if it flops, I’ll just devide time between CoD and Elite Dangerous (SC sometime in the future if it’s finished in this decade :)).

Cod is my preferred ride for the latest and greatest but I’m getting bored of the DF type of play all the time, also the guns just aren’t meaty enough yet, imho. With the new map coming and now HRCODwar I’m getting more interested.
On BoS, its a lovely creation now, I really like the airfields and its cold in there. The planes feel different and I like the sense of speed. Haven’t flown the beta for a bit due to time, but I’ve been holding out for the La5, a personal favourite of mine.

Downloading the new patch as I write, the Yak1 & G2 have been added to the MP today with the LA5 getting closer
Any new content for CoD is a long way off. It’s a lot more complex than IL2 to add new content.
I don’t think we’ll see anything significant added this year.
Our best hopes for CoD is to get organised and fly together in a wing and avoid getting dragged into the constant furball low over Hawkinge and HRCodWar, which I hope comes to us soon.
Was just about to ask, is there any coop vs AI in CLOD?
With a good mission design I couldn’t care less that it’s the AI on the other side, it is still nice to fly together and survive a mission.
As for SC, I’ve seen it Swoop, it’s ok looking but hard to judge since he played it on joypad and was not very good at it (kind of scares me since he might then adjust game to that ‘skill level’ and equipment). One way or the other, I don’t see SC finished before end of 2015, we might be more lucky with Elite Dangerous, similar enough and should hit the stores by end of the year with 1st person exploration coming year after in first expansion or whatever they will call that.
Seems like interesting times ahead for flight simmers, realistic and space alike
I like the BoS updates. They always come on a Friday. so it gently reminds me that the weekend is only around the corner.
As for the game itself, I’d rather play Cliffs any day.
Yep. You can run it with quite realistic numbers as well.

I prefear a game open to the mods like Il2. did you know how much business you can do with all WW2 plane and version? would you like to spend so much money for play a game ? I hope I’m wrong but we will see
