I’m tempted by both the M2000C and the F-5, but I have a lot more planes then I have time to learn to be honest. :o
If someone is tempted to try out DCS, I really recommend getting the Spit and the Mustang plus Normandie with the WW2 asset pack. To just try it, download 1.5 and try the TF-51, it’s an unarmed Mustang (so not as fun, but very close in the flying itself).
At the moment it’s quite a lot cheaper to buy Normandie map ($22.49) and WW2 asset pack ($14.99) separately then to buy them as a pack ($59.99).
Seems like DCS figured that out, now the pack is $29.99, get it!
And I went ahead and bought the Spitfire campaign, not that I have all that high hopes for it as the Spit can’t carry bombs at the moment, but might get me to fly a little more often.
