Aha! I’d heard about the SE.5’s canopy but never saw one before…
Whenever I suggest things like the balloon-cluster-drop method of launching a glider, no-one takes it seriously for some reason. The Puchacz can descend vertically and stay below Vne when using full airbrake (not that I’d ever waste height doing something so silly), so why not pull it tail-first straight up into the sky using a balloon which can lift 600kg? 
No lights, just the flame out the exhaust:)

Ah the Spad VII… Here’s one that belongs to 19 Sqn.
If you have an interest in the development of this Sim, then you are probably aware of the fact that the only info you can get on it, is via a 2000+ replies thread in the SimHQ board.
IMO that is not acceptable. It deserves its own forum and it’s time that SimHQ obliged. There are many points of interest regarding the dev of this sim buried in that thread that are no longer accessable unless you start reading from post one.
If you feel the same as me add your name to this thread on SimHQ

I dont use SimHQ as Gennadich have their own KOTS forum, thats were they asked for squadrons to be added and i got my say in:D (19 Sqn).
They also ask for research help and they do get a lot of it over there.
This weeks update guys was only a pilot so i didnt post it up, if some eye candy turns up i will post it:) .

I’m not talking about the Gennadich forum. I’m talking about the flight sim world being made aware that this title is in development. Fine if you know it’s there, but if you don’t then you wont find the Gennadich forum will you.
That is exactly my point. Maddox and Gennadich are in the same building in offices next door to each other under the same software development Umbrella company. KotS needs a forum of it’s own.
EDIT: There is the risk that this title will only get a Russian release unless there is sufficient demand outside of that market
Looking at the caliber of posts and people over at SimHQ im glad they are not over at Gennadich:D

Thanks for the heads up Dan…a very cool and moody looking pilot.
You’ll find that the majority that post in the SimHQ thread are already over on Gennadich, myself included. You’ll also find that Hans and myself both come from a WWI sim background and were in the same online WWI based squadron (RAC) before joining the EAF. So you aren’t the only one closely monitoring the dev of this sim.
Also re: the 92 quip, 19 have the lion share of SimHQ posters so I can’t see how our (92) lack of humour is relevent as a reason edit, perhaps you should aim it at them also.
Humour ? Humour ? Well you only have to read some of my previous posts to understand us here at 92 Sqn have a fantastic sense of humour and i personally think that humour binds 92 Sqn very closely together.
