I have just finished the wooden prop and the struts, what i am having probs with is the markings. Osprey i know you have done a few ww1 skins do you have the german markings i can have, or if anyone else has them it would be most appreciated.
Help - but what help do you need?
Does this help?

I’m only 1/2 joking, there are four of the Red Baron’s tripe’s there
If it’s an albatros then this might help:

I have the kit, the wings are purple, green, purple, with blue undersides.
The Fug is natural wood, except the red nose and tail - and the grey metal fittings.
The cross is overpainted, but visible on the tail
Oh, and sorry, the struts are blue
The red is not the final scheme yet, i just need a good side or top view of the cross because i cant make it.
Ah, I just took a look at the decal sheet
It has 12 variants on the cross - all cross pattee? - for, I think 3 different aircraft
I don’t think the Germans got it right at the time, they certainly weren’t consistent.
Do something that looks right
Still WIP but ive had enough for the night. I will do mor tomorrow.Damn wood took forever:mad:
Looking good Aceman, and much more interesting than plain red!
I can not tell, from the angles here, how straight the colour divide is on the wings.
Try not to keep them too straight
Looks good mate, especially the wood. Nice work.
Did you do the “wood-structure” as a layer so you can change the colour of wood?
Aceman, sorry, I should have thought of this before …
Go to Eduard site: http://www.eduard.cz/
Follow links to aircraft kits - Eduard show .pdf’s of their instruction sheets, including any colour schemes (usually the last few pages)
