Somewhat more timely updates, the “stable” release have at times contained bugs (including severe ones) for some modules that was was fixed in the beta long before the stable version got an update. When it comes to stability in DCS I find the difference disapperingly small between “stable” and beta. I’m only on stable when a beta turns to stable. 
Open Beta. Most of the good servers are found there, fixes happen more often and the latest releases start there.
Just a caution, Starfire - I had a few versions and it screwed up my module activation so just go for the beta and avoid the full / current version.
