What DCS Aircraft do you fly the most?

I am making this Post in response to the “EAF Aircraft list” I own many of the modules in DCS as I’m sure some of you do too. I’m wondering who knows what Aircraft the most and feel proficient at, what order and how many hours?(I am not including FC-3 or CA). You can check your hours in your DCS Logbook. By doing this I think we can buddy up with someone who knows the air-frame better for training.

Ill start first:

  1. A-10c: last time I checked bout 100+ hrs / Proficient AG & AA when needed!
  2. F-5 Tiger: 20+ / Proficient AG&AA
  3. Mig-21bis Fishbed: 20+ / Semi Proficient AA&AG
  4. Huey: 15+/ AG and transport.
  5. SA 342 Gazelle: 5+ FAC/AG
  6. KA 50 Blackshark:5+ AG/ retraining needed
  7. F-86 Saber: 5+/ AA only, have not learned AG systems
  8. Mig 15: 5-/ AA only, have not learned AG systems
  9. P-51 Mustang: 5- AA only not enough time in airframe.
  10. BF-109 Kurfurst: 5- same
10)Su 25T Frogfoot: 2- SEAD only, have not learned AG systems
  11. M-2000 Mirage: 1- Just bought today

I’m up at 10 hours in the Spit, I think thats almost as much as all the other planes in DCS combined! :o
Not sure if the P-51 or F-86 comes second, but they make up almost all the rest of the time I’ve spent in DCS, simply haven’t had time to get the hardware setup for the other planes. :frowning:

Same as you Mikke, Spitfire and some P51. I’ve also got the 190 which I’d like to learn and see why it was so deadly, plus I could fly as opposition some times.

Right now I just want to keep going with the Spit and get some PVP action and see if its doable in VR.

OT - Does anyone know how you can have labels on, but instead of the words it’s just a dot?

I think you can but you have to play with one of the .lua files. I don’t particularly want to do that though. They’ve updated the labels for VR now though.

When I update DCS recently it deleted my log book and all my control set ups so I can’t check it

F86 semi proficient in AG / AA
A10c semi proficient in AG, but would need a refresh

Messing about with the F15 at the mo

You getting the Spit Stevie?

I have bought the P51,F86 and Spitfire.Trying to get proficient on these. Still at stage of setting up keys, sensitivity settings and learning to start, take off and land.

None! I barely have had time to fly.

Hi All, i have the P51 and the Spitfire. Having a lot of trouble with the Spit, can’t take off, and keep blacking out if in a very slight dive, and blowing the engine in flight!
Maybe we could have a sticky for the IX problems and fixes?
Happy new year
