PLEASE READ:

DBS Missions are designed to recreate specific historical battles, some more famous some less. Emphasis always lies on bombers and coordinated bombing attacks relying on teamwork. As such, the goal is not to score as many points as possible but to survive the mission and help your team the best way possible, more importantly to get out alive. If you achieve your objective but lose the majority of planes and pilots it will not count as a win. We have a list of rules that apply for each of our Missions.

Changes in comparison with the DBS Mission #6: MDS Battle of Midway:

[ul]
[li]No more AI recon planes. All recon flights must be human. Each team has 8 available recon A/C in total.[/li]> [li]Radar or FoW has been decreased. It now tracks aircraft at 2.5 grids radius, and not below 50m. Small ships have simulated visual radius of 1 grid and no altitude limitation.[/li]> [li]If you die, you will have to sit out before being given permission to refly. Penalty duration is 7 minutes. Successful bail out doesn’t force a penalty. Only pilot death.[/li]> [li]Home base icons (carriers) will remain static throughout the Mission, further preventing the one team to locate the other.[/li]> [li]A/C type will no longer be visible on the scoring screen.[/li]> [/ul]

MAP OVERVIEW / THREAD

PLEASE NOTE: Roster represents “first sortie”. Depending on the outcome and the remaining available planes, you may be forced to take another A/C type. Bomber slots can be increased / decreased in favor of torpedo / dive attack, per preference. The total sum of bomber A/C will remain 18 for both teams.
