This is despite flying at 14,000ft Your height is not relevant
The target in the clip was the square sticking out into the docks. This had vehicles and invasion equipment parked up. It was lined up between the Black and White striped wires on the sight. This is the same technique used for high level attacks - but then the sight has to be set to your height and speed.
*** This is not your speed - I was flying at 220mph
You will need to have the autopilot set up to hold the aircraft steady and make small corrections to line up to the target.
This causes the sight to look down vertically. When the target goes past the needles on the sight and under the window frame you start taking pictures. This accounts for the delay on the server. I am tempted, when I get some down time, to start flying high-level attack missions to see how high I can spot targets from.
