I just found that putting the sound to full ingame as he does, I can now hear a 109 when its close behind me with canopy closed. As you could…maybe…err…I’ll take it as it just saved my bacon twice 
Tried it seems nice…
also i couldn’t hear my engine before the take off run ( i thought it was a bug with my sound card) and now i can hear it from the start! +100% immersion!
