Afternoon everyone, I fly on UK dedicated 3 quite regularly, and always enjoy teaming up with Sporran, we do quite well together even if we occasionally lose sight of each other and get downed (sorry mate). If at anytime you chaps are not involved in EAF activities and fancy a session on UK3 youd be ensured a warm welcome. The numbers havent be great recently and any new chaps would be a god send, the more the merrier so to speak. Hopefully no-one takes this the wrong way and thinks im on a recruiting drive, im not, but if you have free time away from EAf duties we`d love to see you. Obviously if this breaks any posting rules, please delete it.
Uk3 is locked pit no externals, map and friendly icons to about 2K, and speedbar enabled.
Thx Sporran,
I like the sound of your group, ive always been more interested in teamwork over personal glory. Ill have a word on TS with you, ill stick with BFs, as tbh I enjoy it so much, but im sure I could combine the 2 and get the best of both worlds so to speak, if i`m allowed in of course.
A decent night tonight we had 22 at one point and 31 yesterday. Always good seeing you chaps because it brings in more team orientated play, yesterday a miracle happened, a map was won :), in recent times that has been very rare indeed, so thx again, everyones welcome EAF duties permitting of course.
Very good getting in a desert map last night in Tomahawks. We had just finished a coop in the same map in the same aircraft…with not such a good result :o
Nice to meet Menden as well. Menden was one of the original EAF’ers from a long time ago, way before my time (I’m just a young 'un ) Is he a regular on UKDed?
Yeh Mendens a regular, has been for over 2 years, he took me under his wing when I was an online greenhorn, one of the best chaps ive ever flown with, absolutely committed to teamwork, and no stats chasing, hell happily move aside to let a novice pilot get the kill, something which in my opinion says reams about the man.
yer ive been in there a lot over the past week, really enjoying it thanks smurfy, theres some great guys fly in there, menden, jingo, kammo, mr tickles to mention a few
My Tb3 sortie was on for a landing till the F2 sat on my six, I wasted his motor from the gunners position, and he glided into the bombers tail section exploding us both instead of rolling away, why do they do that, it mystifies me. I`d been up for 20 mins on that sortie, I had to walk away and get a cuppa.
It was the best night ive seen on there for a good while, its a whole different game with skilled guys working together as your opposition, I really enjoyed it, although my eyes are suffering at work at the minute. Everyone here is more than welcome to make it their second home, as long as the sides are even/evenish itll be great.
Im fetching a Lambretta tonight, its from 1962 and im going to restore it, if anyone knows of any more for sale or parts, id love to hear about them , its my second passion.
Anyway catch you all on Weds, its EAF squad night tonight I believe.
Apologies if anyone said hello to me on UK3 tonight and I didnt reply, I had our swearing player to deal with and I had trouble removing him, lol. Thx for showing up again chaps.
I have been there a couple of times with the rest of your guys but the icons turns me off big time
Personally I am not into acade gaming so I have dcided not to go there agai since I don’t feel it is fun.
A more rationel reson is that flying under real condition is better training for AW and SE
Tast is very individual from person to person. We all seek different thing in the game. If MS Flight Sim had allowed delivering of ordenance, I would have been flying long range attacks in Mosquitoes, Beufighters, Me110, P-38 and A20’s
Maybe Ill see ya at the Okinawa1945 or the Norweigen DF servers (when ever he get ack from holliday to start them again)
