Two more books (not aviation)

This time I would like to talk about fantery books.

I just finished reading a terrific book of memories from a war reporter, former Marine during the Vietnam War. The book is:

Philip Caputo - Rumor of War

This book was also winner of a Pulitzer Award, and I believe it is the best fantery book I ever read.
Other people opinions about the book can be read HERE and HERE

The second book is

John Keegan - The face of the battle

This is a must for those who are keen on battle books. A battle is made basically by individuals. This book gives you the feeling of how could have been fighting 3 of the most famous battles of the military history: Azincourt (Henry V), Waterloo (Wellington) and La Somme (1914).

I really enjoyed both of them.
