New sound drivers = no difference
Turning off “Reduce background noice” = no difference
Think we can drop those parts from the equation.
I have not reinstalled TS3, but I have upgraded it earlier from different version.
But! Package loss goes up to 50+% now and again, with the expected loss in sound quality. AKA, it breaks up. And I loose connection to the server now and again.
331 have given up tonight and moved to TS2.
On TS2 tonight, and though it’s still far from good (I get break-ups there as well), at least it’s better then TS3. But my main concern now is that my internet connection seems to be a big problem with both TS.
With 3 people on channel all is well, but as soon as we get 4 or 5 on the same channel the lost packages increases (and I get broken transmits).
I’m not sure whether it have become worse since before summer, of the limited numbers flying in 331 was the reason it worked then. :rolleyes:
Still, I prefer the way TS2 handles the lost packages over TS3’s handling, but it’s a matter of degrees in hell, not a difference between heaven and hell…
Have you run a tracert on our TS server from a DOS window?
Perhaps theirs some cacked up routing somewhere between you and the server.
