TrackIR - Device Not Detected

Have got a new CPU and MOBO and installing everything but have been struck by the dreaded Device not Detected TrackIR issue. Have looked around the NaturalPoint forums but this often seems to mean the device has had it. Have e-mailed asking for assistance, but anyone here had this and overcome it successfully?

Otherwise will have to shut eyes and order a new one

I have had that before, and it was down to the device not being plugged in when updating the trackir software, the only way I sorted it was to uninstall software, plug in the unit and re install

I messed around a few times and now it acknowledges that it is plugged in…but it doesn’t work :rolleyes:

I’m in a money-burning mood at the mo; have ordered a TrackIR 5 anyway on the grounds that the TIR4 was 5 years or so old.
