As its likely to be a light turnout this week with WB and Os both working, I’m opting to run a fourth part to Aug 16th, rather than start Aug 18th big raid on Kenley and Biggin.
Flt Lt James Nicolson’s August 16th, 1940 is an incredible story of bravery and well worth a read if you get chance on both the battle of Britain society website or his Wikipedia entry.

I was wondering if it would be worth generating AI wingmen for our flight? I know you add in some extra flights/squadrons from elsewhere (like the 19Sqn Spits in the last mission) but what I’m thinking about is the ability for us to generate our own AI wingmen when we hit the ‘Create’ button.
So, for example, with the 4 of us that flew last week, if we had each created 3 aircraft at the creation screen we would have had a full Sqn of 12 aircraft. Apart from looking great as we climbed out it would have given us better odds if we’d been bounced by the fighter cover.
I appreciate the AI leave a lot to be desired but it might be worth giving it a try especially if there’s only 2 of you on Thu?
