I’ve seen the first two episodes, and i hope it gets better. It’s no Band of Brothers, but it’s still okay.
I enjoyed the second episode more than the first but agree that it does not match the excellent Band of Brothers but i would still recomend watching it.
Yep, likewise, the start was disappointing after the standard set by Band Of Brothers.
2nd looking better, and I do expect we will all be rivetted as each episode comes out.
Hats off to Hanks and Spielberg though, this got the interest of my teenage kid, and it is a great way to link action, history and the real men who introduce each episode to what happened.
I saw the first two parts on Sunday afternoon.
I agree with Joe’s point of view.
I liked some scenes: the speach of the C.O. announching the leave for Pacific front, the dinner with the Italian family in the US before the soldiers leave for the front, the Alligator Bay battle. I eagerly wait for the next episodes.
