I’ve seen the first two episodes, and i hope it gets better. It’s no Band of Brothers, but it’s still okay.

I enjoyed the second episode more than the first but agree that it does not match the excellent Band of Brothers but i would still recomend watching it.

Yep, likewise, the start was disappointing after the standard set by Band Of Brothers.

2nd looking better, and I do expect we will all be rivetted as each episode comes out.

Hats off to Hanks and Spielberg though, this got the interest of my teenage kid, and it is a great way to link action, history and the real men who introduce each episode to what happened.

I saw the first two parts on Sunday afternoon.
I agree with Joe’s point of view.

I liked some scenes: the speach of the C.O. announching the leave for Pacific front, the dinner with the Italian family :slight_smile: in the US before the soldiers leave for the front, the Alligator Bay battle. I eagerly wait for the next episodes.
