The Mighty Wokka!

As some of you may know, l used to be in the RAF!

Well, one of my jobs was a AGI (Air Gunnery Instructor) and someone has hosted this on YouTube…

M130 mini gun both sides firing 7.62 and a M60 on the ramp again firing 7.62 (and not 50 cal as it says in the vid). Pretty boring video until it gets to the night time flying!

Enjoy!

Impressive!

Thanks for sharing!

Remember me to never piss you off!:stuck_out_tongue:

Heavy stuff Vortex!!

The film you show Jimmi is from where I live so very glad to see it! Thx for the find!

Nice find! Filmed in Sweden, Swedish pilots from F15 (a wing that was disbanded in 1998), the helicopter is a HKP4 (Boeing Vertol 107, last one in Swedish service in 1992), I suspect the film was shot in the later half of the 80’s. The pilot probably had plenty of practice using it for hunting suspected Soviet submarines.
I had no idea that big helicoper could do moves like that!

Yup, did that more than a few times during two tours in Afghanistan!

Even more interesting at night on goggles believe me!

But the most demanding thing is what the troops did when they were on the ground, they were the true heros out there…
