Sad to say it’s slow going in the IL2 movies these days, but we have found this little gem.
Not bad filming, but the beauty is the whole idea of integrating a real Lagg and an IL2 Mig-3 with a good idea for a movie. And who’s to say if you take up an old warbird with all her history then some strange things might not happen up there?

Hint: shouldn’t the frontsided antenna be enough for recognition, look at the semi-dyedhral wings: the center section is 0 degrees, while 2/3rds are swept upwards…

Astonishing! Simply wonderful merge of historic photos, real life MiG-3 and the implementation of the pilots in game.
The video really puts your mind back into remembrance when seeing the old MiG packed with its own history, still flying.
