The "Big Stick" is back in town

Hi chaps.

Incase you are unaware, the US Navy Aircraft Carrier, USS Theodore Roosevelt, comes along side just outside Portsmouth on Sunday and is staying for 5 days.

I last saw it over here in 2009 and I have never witnessed anything as large as this, it really is a sight and worth a quick trip just to see and try to understand the magnitude of such a humongous feat of engineering.

The pubs will be interesting next week as well

Yip… Seen it on the news mate, every hooker in Glasgow is away to see it for some reason

Stevie

5000 horny sailors with money to spend will attract all types.

Must be real quiet in Glasgow by now.

I can understand sailors and hookers 100 or more years ago. But nowadays, you just walk into a bar and pick a chick or two (provided you’re not ugly mofo :)).

Maybe I don’t know what I am missing, but I still believe that best things in life are free (sex included :)).

Well Well.

Today is the last full day for the USS Theodore Roosevelt on our shores. She departs tomorrow.

In true Naval tradition there is always a sporting send off… Unfortunately for the American Sailors… the chosen game was “Football”, English style, at the RN sports ground in Pompey known as HMS Temeraire.

The teams were USS Theodore Roosevelt (Enormous US Aircraft Carrier) vs. HMS Diamond (Rather small Type 45 Destroyer)

The final result… HMS Diamond 15-2 USS Theodore Roosevelt.

Maybe the ladies of the night wore them out on our great British Isle over the last week.

So the lesson is… if you are ever confronted by a massive US aircraft carrier, do not fear, just bring a big titted bird and a football,it gets them everytime
