Thanks for Harrier instruction Red!

Great fun joining Red and Mram for a AV-8B training hop last night. Only my 2nd flight in the Harrier.

Top tip - never try and take screenshots in VR by lifting your Oculus up slightly while flying 100ft down a valley…

Your welcome Flash, also a first for me being able to host, with Mikke Mram and yourself think it went smoothly until you let loose with all those rockets at the tanks:roflmao:, good flying through the mountains low level, next on the list Mram is get it armed up and fire some Mavericks.

Just a simple mission guys nothing fancy, but will stick a carrier and a KC135 on it for some carrier ops and some A to A refuelling

Stevie

I can send you mine if you like?
I’m going to be about tomorrow and it’ll be my first flight of 2018 if anyone is about. Mission has the A-10C and the Viggen as well as the Harrier

Great fun flying with you all. Thx Red for hosting and instructing through all the knobs, dials and procedures. Cool experience flying full tilt through the valleys!

Thx for the offer OD. I don´t think I am ready to fly any mission yet though, still in learning mode here. But soon I´d be happy to fly some Harrier missions

Mission is just the word used for the map.
It contains:
AV-8B
A-10C
Viggen
Mirage 2000C

It also has the KC-130 for air to air refuelling and I think it had the carrier too. There is an airfield to the north to attack, if you want to. It has hard and soft targets as well as a couple of short-range radar guided SAMS to try out the Sidearm missiles on. It’s just there as a training map. The useful thing about the A-10C is that it can lase targets for the Laser Guided Bombs - until the Harrier TGP is working properly.

OD

I wouldn’t mind trying your mission OD, if its a nice ground attack practice for Harrier newbies…

(NB: if I run it as SP mission, not having the Viggen myself won’t break it?)

What time are you thinking of flying on Sat?

I’m thinking between 11 and 14:00 GMT. I might be able to be on a bit later than that, I’ll know more tomorrow. I have no issue hosting.
I generally fly the maps in multiplayer. It could be done single player, and it shouldn’t matter that you don’t have all of the aircraft - it will only allow you to choose the aircraft that you do have. The benefit of doing it in multiplayer is you can just respawn and get a new aircraft if you cock something up  You don’t have to reload the whole mission. You don’t have to let people join and run your time though, just put a pasword on!
