Nope, not ready yet, but some good stuff for the Beaufighter fans and a Hurricane with a bomb load! Rhubarb is back on the menu!

This is not what I would be calling good news, but I think it might be a question of Psyche / culture.
I am a lot more in to numbers and facts.
The video in question is quite good, but I get the feeling: “Look at my new toy, but you can’t play with it yet”!
I know from IL-2 1946, what the Beu is capable of, so the video just turns me off.
I am aware that they are doing it in their spare time, and I am great full for it. Their current work speaks for itself.
When I bought the game, take-of with the Blen was almost impossible. Engines were overheating faster than lightining, running the game was a pain even with a high-end vga-card.
Right now I am looking forward to the next SOW campaign.
I wouldn’t say it was good news either, but it is news. It does feel like the old 1946 two weeks gag. They are working on stuff, but while I get water towers etc. add to the environment it is all stuff that can be added later. There was at least a first look at the new map…with no detail, but we know it is North Africa now.
No idea when it will be released, seeing as they had been hoping for July…maybe Christmas by the looks of things…best case scenario!
Beaufighter does look quite an achievement though - is it the first all new aircraft that they have put in?
Yes and no. There are a non-playable Beaufighter IF in the game. This would have given them a basic airframe, maybe a flight-model and a model for the ballistics of the guns. But they would still need to make a lot. Two new cockpits, loading screens, a daylight camo skin.
