SU-27 stalls and crashes at airshow in Radom, Poland

Both Pilots killed, no other casualties.

After only a few minutes of acrobatic flight the Belarussian SU-27 takes its last loop and stalls to the ground into a forest.

The local town was just few hundred meters away, thus the pilots didn’t eject risking the plane would hit innocents.

A sad day, but brave pilots, they kept going through the forest to the end.

RIP

Sad to see those guys waving just minutes before :frowning:
RIP

Indeed, it gave me shivers.

:frowning: r.i.p.:frowning:

:frowning: Brave pilots. RIP

Looks like they get engine problems in the beginning of that last, unfortunately, failed pull up, hard to say what happens, but both engines gives off black smoke, and then it seems like they don’t get much thrust, if any. :frowning:

Right engine gets smokey, during last looping.

Russian Channel 1 Satellite Television reported the usual FOD of a bird (remember Anatoly Kvochur’s MiG29 at Le Bourget?), yesterday.

Over.
