Flew my first DCS Storm of War mission this evening. Was really good, though I ended up being the host. Flew the Mustang on escort duties for B-17’s over Cherbourg. Ended up in a few fights with Bf109s at a range of heights from 28,000ft to 0ft. Ended up with two Bf109’s killed and 1 assist. Not bad considering I hate fighting in the P-51! More by luck than anything else though.
I’ve spoken to Phil and I’ll be making some missions for Storm of War and sending them to him, but mine will have fewer B-17’s and be more about attack cross-Channel targets of opportunity.
