Looking to the engine nacelles this P38 seems to be an E,H or F version.
When you search the net a bit about this special A/C, you learn, that it is the former “White Lightning” and a former Reno racer. I found a tech info saying it was an L version. But the engine nacelle tells something different. Maybe its originally an L version that was modified to look like a F?

I have to confess that I did not do any research on this specific plane.
If it was born an ‘L’ it certainly have been altered. But the mod is quite close to an original, all though earlier design. But well done.
