i meant to say WOW…amazing.

Well, it’s actually the Italian music score of an Italian masterpiece movie by an Italian Maestro, Sergio Leone, with Clint Eastwood, Lee VanCleef and Eli Wallach…

Ennio Morricone is the Composer’s name:

BTW…did you know that even William Shakespeare was an Italian immigrant? :wink:

:roflmao:

indeed a masterpiece movie, makes you wonder why they don’t make Westerners any more??

William Shakespeare was an Italian immigrant

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm’d;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

He had the music and the melody in the voice yes, this would explain some things. An Italian woman speaks, we melt inside :slight_smile:

Ming

Thanks, Ming, that is one of the Poems I learnt by heart for my Cambridge English Literature Examination, some 30 years ago…(Together with “Tiger, tiger, burning bright in the forests of the night…” (W.Blake) and “The fair breeze blew, the white foam flew, the furrow followed free…” (W.Coleridge). :rolleyes:

Anyway, to be honest…I’m not so sure about Shakespeare’s Italianity, apart from some certain cultural influences: it was just an old joke dating back to the traditional rivalry/proximity between our two Countries.

Thank you for not picking up the provocation, Mylord! :wink:

Best film music to the best film…

Ennio Morricone and Sergio Leone are two wonderful masters of their art.

The best actor team: Clint Eastwood, Lee VanCleef and Eli Wallach!

anyway what do you think of the ukulele band? that was the whole point of the thread to begin with :roflmao: they have some cool covers in youtube, look for the Nirvana ‘‘smells like teen spirit’’ cover.
