Oh man, this map will be soo beautiful. Look how nice they managed to build up the cities. This will be a new step for Il2-maps although it will be the last.

Looking good, but are we really expecting more updates for IL-2? I honestly thought 4.08 would be the last until BoB arrives (whenever that will be!). Not that I would mind a new patch or two with more planes and maps.

And after all these years working on it, what’s BoB going to look like if Slovakia is this good but is created in an graphics/terrain engine that’s all smooth and rolling and cannot make sharp-angle turns? For more realistic canal and river banks and cliffs, railway cuttings
The movie of the Slovakia map has wide open plains too so it might be the only map we’ll need. That and the desert scrub one

Didn’t expect any new update for IL2 either, but I have no problem with more fixes, planes, maps and maybe even objects?
I love flying in moutains and their work seems very vell done.
The video is quite good in displaying their work. I might be a bit seduced by their choice of music 
I was not expecting another update but as long as BoB is not finished it is wise move to keep life the old gel! That way we don’t stray to far away as that there where any danger of that among us.

Do you have any idear(educated guess) how much the CPU make a difference?
My own cfg is
Atlon XP 3400+ (2.4GHz)
8800GTS (512MB) (1600x1200 32bit OpenGL)
1GB RAM (DDR)
I dont think the RAM is the killer here. I have made some tests and it never hit the roof, even with all the extras (TS, HL, TrackIR, AV and firewall) running. I am uncertain how much extra I will get from a change of CPU:confused:
(Most of the games I play are old IL2/Falcon4AF/GTR2/GTL)
