Selective Attention

Hi guys.
This is a link to a test that I (and quite a few others) fell foul of at a conference yesterday.

http://www.theinvisiblegorilla.com/videos.html

Its quite and old test by all accounts but I only saw this for the first time yesterday. There is no trickery involved and its not one of those videos where something suddenly leaps out of the monitor in order to make you jump.

I hope you do better than I did :o

Rgds

Charlie.

Saw it few years ago, in Turin

Yes, lets see how many gorillas can each of us count. Post results!

I’ve seen it before as well, no problem seeing the gorilla this time, but I missed two of the passes (1999-video).

First time seeing it.

I “saw” 16 passes (one too much), and a glimpse of the gorilla when it was in the middle, doing its pose. Else I kept concentrating on the passes and didn’t really understand nor care why there was a gorilla in the middle of the group, lol.

At the 2010 video I clearly see the gorilla and saw 15 passes (one too little), but I never saw that one player left and that the curtains changed colour!

Gorillas?

I only had a glimpse of Kate Beckinsale winking at me…
