It strikes me the EAF is fortunate indeed, to have guys like you and Keets sharing your aviation adventures with us.
I could say quiet a lot about how good your composition and control of saturation and contrast is but I’d rather just enjoy the images.

Nice shots Phil. How was the Fulcrum display?
The Fulcrum was very noisy and smokey, not as good as the Mig 29 displays of old, ie no Tail Slides or Cobras, but its still quite an impressive display.
The Typhoon and the Rafale stole the show for fast jet displays, its a shame for me to be unpatriotic but the Rafale had the edge, its quite a machine.
The best display was the Alenia C-27J Spartan, I’ve never seen a transport aircraft thrown around like that, loops and rolls like a fighter, really impressive.
It has to be said that the Italian displays ie Spartan , Typhoon and Frecce Tricolori were the best of the day, they were all incredible pilots.
This will no doubt please our Italian EAF Members, you should be rightly proud of your aviators, they are very skilful.
