Hello Chaps

As an experiment I’d like to experiment with running the server with Mods enabled. I know Puff and WB will approve :slight_smile:

So anyone jumping in will need Refined 0.21 available in the below thread on the RoF forum

Sorry chaps, I’m unavailable as I’m on “lates” (14:00 - 22:15)
Good news (for me anyway) is I finish for crimbo after Wed night (4th) :banana:
so I will/should be available until after Mon Jan 6th (as I’m on the early shift that week)

A lot will depend on whether I can do the mod dance successfully. I’ve not modded RoF apart from PWCG’s additional objects and that didn’t go well the first time.

If it takes more than the 10 minutes I have between getting home and flying, go without me.

It’s a doddle.
Modding RoF is not like modding IL2.
Drop the files in the data directory and select mods on

It’s not a huge install either.

How did the “mods on” work out for multiplayer?

Worked really well.
No issues at all.
The reason I wanted to try a modded server was to remove ambient flak.
