After a little think and exposure to EAF i’ve decided to hang up my 79vRAF uniform and apply over here.
I’ve flown flight sims for about 15 years now starting with Microsoft CFS,CFS 2/3 then onto the Il2 series. Involved in Campaigns and many 1vs1 or 2vs2 tournements.
I did email the link on your home page enquiring about EAF over a week ago but figured i’d also post here.
I’ll be online tonight for the ‘Live’ Event.

Good bunch of chaps here - don’t think you’re regret it. Its a really exciting time for the EAF at the moment what with SoW - flying the sort of teamwork-based campaigns we love.
A recruiting/training officer will probably be along shortly with more info about your application - sounds like you have a fair bit of experience.

We are starting to build a new Nissen hut to accomodate new pilots!!! We heard more are coming may be even some chaps from oversea!?!?! is the mighty eight comin’???
Anyway till the Nissen Hut is done we can share 51 barracks with you! (be advised you’ll need to live side by side with talkative Italians and learn just a little Italian, expecially bad words 
)
You can park your spit close to the shelter, ground crew will take care of it! (and probably Puff will steal it for a ride or two…)

You want me to register on SoW as EAF_Para? Or EAF_T_Para?
EAF_T_Para. The T is for “Trainee” but it serves no purpose of indicating your ability Para. Its just used until you pass out the EAF flight test criteria and get awarded your wings. It will be a brief walk in the park for you. The hardest test of all is after you get your wings. That’s when the rest of the EAF lads get to test out the depth of your wallet in the Officers bar, and they are a thirsty, merciless bunch!

Would I be able to join in the OTU training? I believe I have a lot to learn, I can fly and I can shoot things down, but to paraphrase Donald Rumsfeld there are some known unknowns that I need to know! There are probably unknown unknowns too…I can fly, I can navigate, I can shoot, but I know that I could do these things better with a bit of assistance from those in the know
