Can anyone recomend a free to use easily setup remote access PC software? I am away from my desktop for a few days but I think I will need access to a few office files. Yes I could take them with me but I also need someone else to be able to access the files. Any ideas?
If you just want to be able to get access to your own PC you can always use the built in Remote desktop connection in Windows. You need to enable it on the PC and have it accessible from the outside, but very easy to set up and pretty safe as far as I can tell.

If you pick the right version it’s free. Big advantage: can be used across all OS’s
Teamviewer and Log Me In are pretty much the same product. Both are free and both are platform independent. It’s all down to choice.
I just prefer Teamviewer because the free version is fully functional. There is no difference between the free and paid for versions. Only the licence for home use (free) for business (pay for it)
