MrVH, one of our graphics guys helping to make the community film project (CFP) that I am involved in, has produced this stunning poster.
The movie is coming along smoothly, we have involved at least one other EAF member so far (Whiskey) and might need the help of a few more in the next few weeks, hopefully.

Ah I remember the massively-bogged-down ‘Malta’ mission from Sulla. Don’t know if you’ve flown that one Joe? Was a while back on slower machines maybe but it was really rich hand-built Malta scenery… on re-inventing the wheel thoughts

Yes we tested both Sulla’s and Birdbrain’s Malta maps. Both stunning but object intensive.
We went with Birdbrain’s new map and campaign that he will be releasing in tandem with the film.

Are you going to print those? Perhaps you should - signed limited editions, fiver a go. All proceeds to production costs, worthy causes, beer fund, whatever. I’d certainly buy a couple, and I bet others would as well.

lol, Insight, we have considered that! We will be putting a lot more effort into the movie than was put into the poster.
See, the poster took over 80 forum posts and a lot of input from several CFP’ers. The concept was actually Wiley Coyote’s who worked with MrVH’s photoshop talents, and everyone else’s ‘comments’. The whole project forum is sitting at 2,500 posts, just doing the ground work :eek:
I’m sure this movie will be a major contribution to the IL2 and flight sim community. If we can entertain the wider community while showing due respect to the RAF, RA and the people of Malta then we will have achieved something special.
And the occasional royalty from signed posters, tea-towels and mugs would be pretty neat
