Another crash yesterday in virginia during an airshow, involving a North american T28 Trojan.
Indeed a terrible accident.
I saw a rumor that a trimtab fell off just before the aircraft started acting up.
Although I would hardly call the aircraft a P-51 Mustang.
The “The Galloping Ghost” was so highly modified that I would never call it a warbird. The wing had been reduced by 10 feet. Ailerons cut to half lenght and a final landing speed of 190mph and touchdown at 150-160 mph. It looks very clean, but not like a Mustang.
