Loved the novels and old movies.
now it’s a series on Prime.
IMHO first series was good

got worse and worse…
script is so stupid and gets dumber and dumber…,
just one example…
SPOILER
a Nato convoy is chased by a truck transporting a Nuke that wants to explode to make Nato the culprit.
Jack is following the convoy on a helicopter. He asks the convoy to slow down to make the nuke truck reach them inside a tunnel.
he asks the last truck of the convoy to park sideways to block the tunnel and run on foot to escape…
conveniently there is no civilian traffic
the nuke truck had light problems just when in front of the other truck parked sideways and crash into it exploding.
before the explosion Jack feel the urgency to land, pick up the last truck go back into the tunnel and save the 2 poor runners…
he get out just in time to get hit by the blast and crush sideways…
obviously he survives the radiation of the nuclear blast without any problem…
