using the steam catapult:
Release chocks:
Taxi to front aircraft lift ( between the two catapult rails )
Insert Chocks:
Throttle to Full:
Flaps at desired setting:
Release Chocks ( at which point catapult activates and launches aircraft )

My advice is on the Illustrious carrier you should taxi on the left side of the decks white centerline.
You taxi with the centerline to your right. When you have the ‘260’ mark at your 2’a clock, press chocks! This will lock the plane to the catapult. The next time you press chocks catapult are released
