Hi EAF,

Was wondering how many of you guys have OFP:Resistance and are interested in playing some co-op missions online? Currently I have the Finnish Defense Forces (FDF or finmod) mod installed, as well as the CSLAII mod, which I like even better. I can host some missions if you are interested. Maybe we could connect to some public TS or Ventrilo server for comms as well. Also, we could play some player vs. player missions, but I prefer the larger co-op missions myself.

Hallo sir ,after our chat last night i have now downloaded the CSLA II mod and your right it is good. Still using the fin mod aswell for mission building.
Im definatly up for it, all modded up and raring to go:D

havent played OFP in a long time, i did download some cool special forces divers last year and littlebird helicopters.

If you could put up the links to those mods i will happlily install em and join you.

OFP ADDONS
Here they are mate, just scroll down to the csla and fdf mods, they are self installing so its easy to add them.

Yep, make sure you get everything from that FDF download list, the islands, the 1.4 WWII addon, desert pack, etc. Also when installing CSLA, I would recommend using the FFUR effects pack as it looks very nice (option in the installer). When playing CSLA online all players need to either have or not have that FFUR effect pack installed otherwise it will not work properly. Currently I have CSLA installed with the effects added as well.

Yeah, haven’t played that in ages, never played it online, but i’m up for some.

I’ll install it and the mods and someone can hold my hand.

BTW, in the army i was codename “Sexy-killing-machine!”

Ok, well I’ve got FDF and CSLA installed and OFP all pacthed up so whenever you guys are up for it I can try and host some missions.

Ya, I loved OF but I dont think I have the resistance Addon, where can I find this since it so old?:confused:

Have u tried Ebay bet a few copies are floating around on there, i know in the uk i have seen it still on some shop shelves.

I have now downloaded and tested the 2 add ons all seems well, forgotten how much i used to like this game.

To osprey i was in canada last year and i picked up resitance from a normal game shop, im sure you can get it from your popular gameing stores. Or just look on the codemasters website.

I have been looking at some OFP servers that use FDF mod and they also need a couple more addons. The list is on the link but the WW2 FDF link has some excellent trenches and bunkers for those that like mission building.

I have just noticed the original link was to FDF v1.3 and the latest is v1.4 which is the one we need to have as i have 1.3 at the moment.

Just had a go on the server to see if the addons work and was impressed. nice mission in desert map. Are we using EGF names online?

i do tend to use EGF_Meako in any FPS games as it is easy to be recognised as EAF that way.

We used to have a regular friday night meet with Call of Duty and for a while Americas Army.

Some excellent missions played tonight. It started with a finland map and skiing acrooss the countryside:D to different objectives, its a pity you cant ski and shoot at the same time. Followed by a sector defence. And two excellent missions with myself and Richy taking it in turns to be sniper and spotter/cover. Died in both but damn was it fun.
Have to do it again soon.:sniper:

Just had an excellent couple of missions in OFP with Aceman. Pity we couldn’t track down MetalG, but this is the first time i’ve played it online and i have to say its as excellent as it ever was. Good missions, realistic enough and huge maps. Wanna play some more!

A regular Friday session sounds good.
