Flight Sergeant EAF51 Cirso shot down a Ju-52/3mg4e to score his 2nd victory.

Had to have a laugh at that stat … Seeing that Cirso had 600 points we all presumed he had 3 kills And congratulated him… His reply was that he thought he had only shot down two… So we told about the 100 points per engine… So despite all of us telling you that you got three kills… You were right… J52s:roflmao:

Time to wrap this up now and try something a little different.

France 1940 will give us the Hurricane 1A up against the E4 and a bunch of early LW bombers. The French are supposed to have the P36 Hawk but that isn’t flyable so I could swap that out for the Hawk 75 (not sure how that performs against E4’s, I don’t see it in IL2 Compare, anyone know?)

It’s a much more defensive campaign, of course, so I would give the LW more bombers than fighters trying to bomb the RAF out of France. That would be good training for the Hurri’s.

What do you think?

Flight Sergeant EAF19 Swoop shot down a Bf-109F-4 to score his 4th victory.

I claim half :stuck_out_tongue:

1940 sounds fun, Joe. The -75 is more or less the export version of the P-36 so should be fine for L’armee de l’Air.

The Hawk 75 isn’t available (as a flyable plane) for 4.11.1 so that’s why it doesn’t appear in IL2 Compare.
It was introduced with the 4.12 update. (?)

I postface this with a question mark as this info might prove to be completely wrong.
