Nice flying with BoX on Finish

Thanks for a good show tonight guys
I flew with Topsy, Flasheart and Ribbon on Finish Virtual server.
I was really nice with the revision of both the server and the game update.
We flew some long range bombing missions against German factories with flight time of over 30 min.
The new game updates with black smoke plumes for wrong mixture and trees stopping AAA really made my day

It was fun!
They need to adjust building damage model so progress could be more rewarding, good news admin said he will do it.
With new distances and naval objectives it could be fun experience pnce again participate in ongoing war.

Was hoping to fly with you guys, but with the rules they have in place…I won’t be on that server, very unfortunate :frowning:

why???

why???

Spit VB and A-20 (might be others) locked out to new players unless you hit a (more than one?) ground target to start your score.

Good fun last night on long-range bombing mission - was feeling quite good about hitting that depot until I ran over a enemy tank base…

They introduced a merit/Award system to avoid that the casual gamer could join and empty the reserve first line aircraft’s.
There was a big problem with those guys as they flew very arcadish, and diden’t care about their aircraft and used them as one shot aircraft.

The Finish server use a rotating plane set which is semi-historical. So any aircrafts which were not historical available can be bought by earning air or ground kills. This week the Spit V is an award plane.
Historic planes should be freely available.

I look forward to Bodenplatte as it would give our Spitfire lovers better access to their favorite plane.
We should also see an increase of the average fighting altitude since the Tempest and the US planes are better suited to altitudes above 18.000 ft

Not the Tempest, old son. Below 18,00ft is generally its best performance area. But I am certainly looking forward to it.

Hop in the DCS Mustang for some practice - it flies very nicely

Ah…so that’s why…unfortunate that the map was Kuban, where MkV’s were available as historical plane set…but its their server, their rules  Will catch up with BoX when it shifts away from the Russian front !

This is a super good feature imho!

It’s a pity they don’t stick to historical plansets!
