Control
Force feedback joystick: Control your aircraft with confidence. Force feedback effects allow you to feel its movement as well as its reaction to wind shear, buffeting, turbulence, and g-forces.

Dual throttle: Precisely control multi-engine aircraft using the two 8-way hat switches. Or lock the levers when you need to operate your engines in sync.
Rudder pedals with toe brakes: Enjoy true-to-life rudder control, essential when you’re performing defensive maneuvers and crosswind landings, or piloting helicopters.

Interactive, programmable throttle-base buttons: Keep in control with buttons that illuminate red, green, amber, or off to indicate the status of critical aircraft systems—gear up, flaps down, and many others—just like they would in a real cockpit

Dang it, how long until Christmas :frowning:

this is very tempting… wont be an early adopter though, will wait till the g940 establishes its credentials ( strength, reliability, quality) before i part with $300.

Sporran

ps: i particularly like the dual throttles

$300 in the US,

“The Logitech Flight System G940 will land in Europe this September, with an MRSP of £279 ($457) plus VAT. It’ll launch at the same time in the US, priced at $299.99”

Not sure about the currency rates exchange calculation in there. £279 is $445 in todays rates of exchange $457 is £286

Does look very nice but will IL2 support multiple joystick axis’

Of course it does.

Using 9 axis at the moment

Ok so I did not quite ask exactly what I meant  I am aware of course that IL2 supports multiple axis and controllers. What I actually meant was is it possible to assign an axis to control port engines and an axis to control stbd engines? I cant see how because in game we only have one ‘power’ line in the menu reached at

Hardware Setup>Input>Hotas Control

A single line for ‘power’ in the HOTAS section

It does lool like a very tempting purchase but I am not convinced that it will be fully supported by IL2. Its main advantage that I see is the multiple throttles, toe brakes I’m not fussed about because the Spitfire, Hurricane and I am sure many other WWII machines never had toe brakes anyway
