Proud to say, that I (almost) perfectly managed a telefilm-like-stunt, jumping Fosbury-style on his engine compartment, without waiting to have my legs crunched in the crash.
Already dismissed by the hospital, with five broken ribs…
I’ll just have to live the next month with a really awful relentless pain…plus seeing frequently the guy on TV at news time!

I was hit by a car once (my fault). I came out unscathed bar a few bruises and some embarrassment. The embarrassment was the worst thing, happened outside a nightclub when I was in my 20’s in front of a lot of girls including my future wife. Who was not impressed by my gymnastic forward role over the bonnet BTW. Not sure it’d have the same outcome now I’m in my 40’s
