My first RoF film - An Irish Airman Foresees His Death

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLvHTDa1fkE

I’ve been wanting to make this ever since I saw Whizz’s sig “A lonely impulse of delight drove to this tumult in the clouds”.

It needed a WWI sim though, and Rise of Flight is perfect.

Good show for your first RoF film Joe,
Looking forward to more:)

Nice joe…but you could have at least shot some more of the bastards down before they got you…have I not taught you anything lol

I thought death came fast in Il-2, but no more will I complain about the hazards if IL-2.

BTW: Missions must take ages with the low speed of those acient planes. I had the pleasure(pain) to fly the Swordfish into combat and it took ages :stuck_out_tongue:

Excellent work, really powerful stuff, and Rise of Flight certainly is a work of art is’nt it.

Thanks chaps.

I’m trying to post this in the RoF, but everytime I go to the forum page I get logged out and have to log back in back at the login page, then to the forum page and I get logged out again.

Is there a trick I’m missing?

Nice one Joe,

Great idea - still sends tingles when I see Memphis Bell and the red-headed guy do the reading…

Now how about Macgee’s ‘High Flight’ with a lone Spit breaking through clouds?

Excellent job Joe, I wish you had a chance to make a vid for the ICE competition sure you would have been a finalist.

Thanks again,

Flash, I never heard of Magee until now. That is indeed one poem worth saving for SoW.

Osprey, lol, my first edit of this video was a clean version straight from the game and entered in the Trailer competition. It didn’t even make the top 10. I guess it’s not really a trailer. Oh well, it meant I could rework, reedit and do some post processing which was not allowed in the competition

Good work Joe, as ever.
