This is the story about the largest battle fought in the nordic countries, with 50 000 troops on the finnish side, and 150 000 on the soviet side. The battle started 3 days after D-day when the soviets went on the offensive after years of static warfare.
The movie is more of a reenacted documentary then a action/war-movie, no plot (other then historical facts), but interesting nonetheless (if you are interested in history of course).
Framom främsta linjen should be available on DVD, I have only seen it at the cinema. Slaget om Finland had it premiere a little over a week ago I think, probably not out on DVD yet.
I think they opened here in Umeå (Framom främsta linjen had it’s world? premiere here at least, yes, I was there, so was Harry Järv who that story is mostly about :)).
