Based on true events. Moscow - Москва́ - Moskau. The capital of USSR. A city that changed the course of history. In December 1941 the world held its breath and wondered - will Moscow fall? In a brutal winter storm below -40°C, the fate of the city were in the hands of the soldiers, tankers and pilots on both sides.

On 6th December, an all-out Soviet counteroffensive along the whole Moscow front, changed the course of the war and the future of the Soviet Union.

22nd June 1941: The Soviet Union is invaded. Moscow prepares for war. The Great Patriotic War begins.

21st July: 195 German Luftwaffe bombers, most of which were He-111 bombers, take off from an airfield near Smolensk to attack Moscow in multiple waves during the night. The resulting air alarms were the first to be sounded in the city. Moscow had strong anti-aircraft defences, the city was protected by 170 fighters, and the citizens were able to take shelter in the newly completed underground railway stations.

6th December: The Red Army launches a counteroffensive along the whole Moscow front at 0600 hours. Georg Hans Reinhardt orders his 3rd Panzer Army to fall back to Klin, while Heinz Guderian’s 2nd Panzer Army holds the areas near Tula, south of Moscow. Field Marshal Fedor von Bock has not yet realized that he is now facing an all-out Soviet counteroffensive.

Thanks Apollo and Baz for helping me out!

Awesome, Stunt!!!

Great hearing from Baz!
Hope he’s ok!

There are a pair of scenes really beautiful!

Stunt why are you using warthunder to make movies?

Thank you Apollo! I’m glad you liked it.

THanks a lot Jimmi! Some scenes came out really well, I’m amazed by the graphics in War Thunder at times, being able to record in 4K without frame drops.

I use WT because they host official monthly competitions. If I win, I get featured on their website, thus I get much more publicity and views than on my own.

I wish the BOS team had something similar - a news page constantly updated on community features. I would love to join a BOS movie competition, but I have not seen any yet.

Also WT has very good graphics and good framerate stability. Big downside is the lack of user made skins cannot be shown on AI planes.

This is my best WT movie yet - let’s hope I ACTUALLY WIN THS TIME?

Wonderful, as always!!!

I hate tanks, a dead traps

WOW, absolutely stunning, very impressive indeed!

DA! I won the competition!

Fantastic! Well done! I’ve not had a chance to watch it yet, hoping to when I get home from work!

Excellent, great movie and brilliant result!

Thank you chaps! That means a lot to hear it from the EAF most of all.

I was hours before deadline, stupid and tired and thus forgot to add text telling what historic dates I’m showing - all the different chapters are for specific events that happened chronologically.

I will add text annotations in the video to help guide those uneducated in the turbulent times from June-December 1941 at Moscow.

Wow Stunt…Really, REALLY an amazing film!!
Good musics and scenes, This is your best film.
Congrats for the victory.

Thank you Siggy!
