The Mitsubishi F1M saw duty as a seaplane carrier-based reconnaissance plane throughout World War II. Known as “Pete” in the Allied code, gradually equipped most of the larger units of the Japanese Navy. The very detailed model is based on a 1/48 kit by Hasegawa with a lot of photoetched parts by Eduard. “The work is in progress”…
Nice work in the cockpit. keep usbupdated.
One question, is it me or the control stick in the first pic looks huge?
[i]Hi Nepe, just about Imperial Japanese Aircraft , above all the observer biplane, have a high and long stick. In the original image you can see the cockpit of a “Zero”.
I guess Japanese pilots were not very tall…
I do not know … Then we should ask to the designers and builders of Japanese aircraft.
It’s very impressive!
Fantastic work Max!
