Medals for the Stalingrad SEOW

Looks like we won this one, even without me flying!

Stalingrad 1942 ran for 20 mission. For the Defence of Stalingrad is awarded for all pilots who flew at least 2 missions. A bar is awarded for those who flew 50% or more of the missions.

Well done gents! Salute.

Thank you Mikke S!

Well done everybody

Cheers

Charlie, use this code in your sig. You can add as many images as you want with the IMG tag and a URL of an image.

Note, change all the { for [

(I couldn’t display the code on it’s own, even though I used the CODE tags, what’s up with that?)

…or you could photoshop them on top of another image, see below  If you want, I can do that for you.

How about a campaign ribbon now? I have one missing in my SIG

edit: did anyone ever create a ribbon for the Mariannas or Leyte Gulf?

Joe I may be an interesting movie-maker but I cannot Photoshop at all :o, so if you would be so kind to make one award picture for me then that would be lovely! I will find a pic that I would like to use from 331 Sqn.

And I confer Classic - has our ribbons been stolen already from the wall?

A while back you couldn’t make movies either, Stuntman  Photoshop next :stuck_out_tongue:

In the meantime, send me the background pic you want.

Cheers Joe

@ Classic…you need a bigger chest m8

Thanks to Brigstock and Joe, the medals given for this war have been updated, see the first post!

Thanks all.

BTW I just noticed that the defence of Stalingrad medal says 1940-1941 in the pilot roster.

It is 1942-1943.

I’ll fix that.

The actual medal we used is for the Soviet 40-41 campaign. Hence the mistake

copy paste

Ahh I see now. Still I thought there was some kind of Stalingrad medal given out to the vets after the battle, as it was seen as such a tide-changer.

But I guess it’s hard to find on the internet.
