Hi, my name is Geoffrey Sutherland and Max Sutherland was my grandfather, I’m trying to do as much research about my grandad as I can as my father (Andrew Max Sutherland) passed away 13 years ago telling me nothing of my grandad other than he flew in the RAF and earned the DFC barred, I know it’s the same Max Sutherland from the pictures online and cross referencing them with the pictures that have been left to me from my father (and I share a striking resemblance to him myself), I would love to hear any information you might know about Max/see copies of pictures or hear stories or even be told where to look for further information as I’d like to share this amazing history with my daughter.
