I’m glad to announce that this Wednesday, August 14th we’ll be streaming the game on Twitch.tv
You’ll see the current version of the game and hear comments from Albert ‘Loft’ Zhiltsov and me, Andrey ‘Zak’ Shumakov.

The stream starts in 16:00 GMT.

Dear all, this is the very first stream that we’re making, and it will be in Russian. Sorry for inconvenience. The next stream will be in English. And this one will be published on YouTube later this week with all the conversations transcripted into video captions in English

It’s looking pretty nice for pre-Alpha:

  • The demonstration of RPM control was very good; lovely noise and the prop change in speed and blade angle looked discernible.
  • Models look lovely and had that sensation of 3D movement that RoF offers
  • Lighting and sky look great
  • Landscape looks a bit like a watercolour to me but might just be the feed / maturity of the engine at this stage
  • They manoeuvred the LaGG but difficult to tell how the FM is from a third party view
  • No effects at this stage (smoke etc.)

On the whole everything appears promising, certainly more than CloD ever showed prior to release.
