Incom T-65 Superiority Fighter

Space Superiority Fighter

No flying means more time for other hobbies, like modelling…

And my next project:

Brilliant paint job.

Could do with a Spanish Flag flapping oot the window

Very nice model, Master Nepe. May the force be with you!

Nice weathering

What is it?
Seems a B29 fuselage with extra gun canopy, but it has only two engines…

Ah, quiz, quiz: I think it looks like a Greif bird…

Cool X-Wing Nepe…I played the game of Lukas Arts excessively. I flew the fighter and Kathy organized the energy & shield management with the keyboard.

Uh, this reminds me again.

The truth is out there. But government denies knowledge.

Do you think we are alone in the universe?

Do you think we have visitors from outer space?

Imagine they are 100.000 years ahead of us or even 1.000.0000 years. oops.

Gordon Cooper and Edgar Mitchell say the are there.

As an Air Force, we ought to discuss these things and investigate.

No? ok. mumbles: “Antigravity and subspace uh we shall see… Live long and prosper!”

LOL

Good one Hiaw, maybe you are a but crazy, but you know about planes and we love you

Yep, its a Heinkel 177 Greif, a 4-engine bomber with just 2 nacelles. Still unsure about the paint job Im gonna do…

Top job on the X wing, though it looks like that R2 unit needs replacing.

Didn’t Eric Brown fly a Heinkel 177, he decribed it as one of the most unstable aircraft he ever flew??

Thats right, and it catched fire easily, without even being shot at.

What can you expect from a design requirement of a dive bomber the size of a B17?

The X-wing is not just a T-65. There are actually many versions.

I used to play the roleplaying game in my younger days.

Since the X-wing retains its R2(D2) unit, it is not a T-65D-A1. That version had the droid replaced by an internal computer for astrogation (navigating in space/hyperspace).
Since it lacks the dual cockpit, it is not a trainer (TX-65).

I guess that the X-wing are from the rebel days, before the dawn of the New Republic. That would make it a T-65B variant.

Just bragging of all the useless knowledge that are left in my brain

Lovely modelling Nepe although I’m more inclined towards Star Trek. You’re a master though. Wonder if Winkle Brown ever flew the X-wing. He flew pretty much everything else.

2010 post  I thought it was just a few months away…

Sorry to resurrect this, I just read Whizz comment and…

Thanks Billy, but no way man!
